Importance of last verses of Surah Muminoon

This surah focuses on the importance of having true faith in Allah. It also contains many verses about the Day of Judgment, and how those who have iman will be rewarded in Paradise. The surah begins with a description of the believers: “Those who have faith and do righteous deeds, they are the best of creatures.” (Quran, 23:1)

The believers are described as being the best of creatures because they have iman and do good deeds.

This is followed by some of the signs of His creation for people to reflect upon.  Then comes the description of the disbelievers.  The disbelievers are described as being the worst of creatures because they reject Allah’s Signs.

On that Day, the sinners will swear that they only stayed in the world for a short time. But they will be deluded, because they will have stayed in the world for a long time.
