What is Dua?
In Islam, supplicating to Allah the Creator and Sustainer, for all your needs is known as dua. Muslims consider dua a great act of worship in itself because you are asking Allah to fulfill your needs. Many duas are found in the Quran as examples of what to ask. Read these Ramadan duas when the time comes.
The following duas have been taken from the Quran and Hadith and have been chosen as they are short to help understanding and memorisation:

Ramadan dua – Upon sighting the crescent moon
Dua before eating
Upon completing ablution
Dua for first 10 days of Ramadan (Ashara)
Translation ’And [O Prophet] say, “My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and You are the best of the merciful”’. (Qur’an, 23:118)
Upon entering the masjid

Translation ‘O Allah, You are the One that forgives, You love to forgive, so forgive me’
Excellence of remembrance and glorification of Allah
Dua for second Ashara (10 days) of Ramadan
Translation ‘I seek forgiveness from Allah, my Lord, from every sin committed’
Dua for last 10 days of Ramadan
Translation ‘O Allah, save us from the fire of Hell’
Protection from anxiety and sorrow
Tranlation ‘O Allah, I take refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, weakness and laziness, miserliness and cowardice, the burden of debts and from being over powered by men.
Dua to be steadfast in prayer
Translation ‘My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and [many] from my descendants. Our Lord, and accept my supplication. Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers the Day the account is established. [14:40-41]

Asking for paradise
Translation “O Allah, I ask You to grant me Paradise and I take refuge in You from the Fire.”
Dua to remember Allah
Translation “O Allah, help me to remember You, to thank You, and to worship You in the best of manners.”
Asking Allah to accept our service
Translation O Our Lord, accept (this service) from us, verily You and You alone are the Hearer, the Knower
Surah Al Maida 114 – Verse mentioning Eid
Translation O Allah, our Lord! Send us from heaven a table spread with food as a feast for us—the first and last of us—and as a sign from You. Provide for us! You are indeed the Best Provider.”
